Job summary

Qualifications

• Many years of experience on Turbomachinery components like Gas Turbine for Power and/or Aviation industry.
• Strong understanding of aero engine modules such as Rotative, Compressors, Turbines, Combustors, Structures & Casings.
• Knowledge of Aero Engine Component Design, Analysis and Non-Conformance Assessment Process
• Hands on experience in structural stress and vibration analysis using 2D/3D methods and FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, SC03).
• Experience with DOE, RCA and field failure analysis; able to guide team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Stress engineers and mentor their growth.
• Interface with key stakeholders and govern delivery across projects.
• Drive technical delivery excellence and ensure quality, safety, cost and schedule targets.
• Collaborate across functions to enable successful aero engine projects in Derby/Bristol.
• Steer high-level Stress Analysis tasks and ensure customer requirements are met.
