Job summary

Bromford Industries Limited in Alcester is seeking an Inspector on a permanent basis. The role involves 1st off and Final inspections, calibration, CMM program running, and data capture.

You will support non-conformance processes and coordinate with Engineering and Quality to ensure product conformity and timely NPIs. The successful candidate will have 1–2 years' experience in aerospace/engineering or manufacturing, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in aerospace/engineering or manufacturing roles.
• Familiar with quality and manufacturing standards.
• Positive, proactive attitude and teamwork.
• Willing to learn and uphold health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 1st off and Final Inspection using manual and visual inspection techniques.
• Perform calibration activities to support operations.
• Run pre-set up CMM programs, analyse results and make quality decisions.
• Populate inspection database with relevant dimensions.
• Sentencing of parts inspected on optical and CMM.
• Support non-conformance process; raise rejects and capture containment.
• Liaise with Engineering for smooth NPI transitions.
• Liaise with Product Quality to provide required data.
• Complete FAIR packs by manual inspection.
