Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Cheltenham is seeking a CMM Programmer/Quality Inspector with an engineering background to develop and maintain CMM programmes for First Off, In-Process, Final Inspection and NPI components.

You will work with Manufacturing Engineering and Production to ensure drawings, GD&T and customer specifications are met, supporting AS9100 standards and providing day‑to‑day programming support.

Qualifications

• Experience programming CMMs (MODUS/PC-DMIS) required.
• Strong GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Experience inspecting precision-machined components.
• Aerospace industry experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CMM inspection programmes from drawings and CAD models.
• Inspect complex NPI, prototype and R&D components using CMM and conventional measuring equipment.
• Verify components meet drawing, GD&T and customer specification requirements.
• Produce accurate inspection records and support First Article Inspection Reports.
