Bromford Industries Limited is recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our Quality Department. The role focuses on delivering quality targets, maintaining the QA system to AS9100/NADCAP, and supporting NPIs while engaging with customers on quality matters.

You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage control plans and PFMEA, and work with manufacturing to achieve Zero-Defect targets. A background in aerospace standards and 3 years in a similar role is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working to aerospace standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Align with Accrofab values: Respect, Integrity, Safety and Excellence.
• Preferably 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

Aufgaben

• Support delivery of quality, cost, delivery and OPEX targets.
• Maintain and develop Walk the Floor routines to improve performance.
• Maintain and audit Quality Assurance System (AS9100, NADCAP).
• Be point of contact for customer queries / issues.
• Liaise with customers for timely resolution of quality concerns.
• Review and implement new / updated customer requirements.
• Support the delivery of NPI.
• Maintain and report against KPIs to identify problems and develop solutions.
• Maintain internal audit program to improve Quality System.
• Be prepared for audits and maintain QA processes.
• Maintain control plans, PFMEA, PPAP.
• Understand FAIR process IAW AS9102.
• Participate / lead customer / NADCAP audits.
• Support training and development of team members.
• Analyse Walk the Floor outputs to report findings.
• Reduce cost of non-conformance via lean initiatives.
• Monitor resolution of problems and implement new standards.
• Identify issues and take corrective actions within timescales.
• Improve investigation and follow-up of QA issues.
• Provide support to manufacturing and planning to achieve 100% quality target.
