Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Programme Lead to join the Project Management Office in the Aerospace Procurement function. The role spans Civil and Defence engines and Marine products, leading integration of Design Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing from customer requirement to first parts delivery.

You will plan, budget, schedule and execute reactivation programmes, ensuring delivery of Zero Defects into production and effective governance across the programme lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Project management experience across industries is acceptable.
• Excellent interpersonal and project leadership skills.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation and project management abilities.
• Degree level qualification; APM and Prince2 or equivalent desirable.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools, especially MS Excel, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute delivery of aero engine parts and Marine programmes.
• Manage planning, risk mitigation, and budget approvals for starting/stopping work.
• Be accountable for delivery to cost, spec and time for defined work packages.
• Initiate changes including resource reallocation with Resource Managers.
• Act as the focal point for all aspects of the assigned programmes for the IPTL/PMO.
• Establish, develop and maintain programme documentation and master schedules.
• Capture, monitor and report status across the project lifecycle.
• Provide stakeholders with information to support management decisions.
• Apply continuous improvement to drive learning and lean efficiencies.
