Rolls-Royce plc is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Aerospace Procurement team in Derby, onsite. You will lead supplier industrialisation, assess readiness, and drive cost-reduction initiatives while collaborating with procurement, quality, design and suppliers.

The role requires an engineering degree and substantial experience in manufacturing engineering within a complex supply chain, with strong analytical and communication skills to influence stakeholders and deliver results.

Competenze

Engineering or related discipline degree required.
Significant manufacturing engineering experience in a complex environment.
Experience with APQP/PPAP and supplier capability assessments.
Strong analytical skills with cost-reduction focus.
Excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills.

Mansioni

Industrialisation planning and cross-category oversight per APQP/PPAP.
Assess supplier capability, manufacturing readiness and risks.
Collaborate across internal teams and suppliers to realise industrialisation and cost targets.
Support and drive technical product cost reduction activities.
Provide support for existing and future technology programmes within Procurement.
Identify and resolve technical barriers to industrialisation.
Develop opportunities to meet business targets through current and new strategies.
