Job summary

AMS People Limited seeks a Production Supervisor for a 6 month fixed term contract in Dudley. You will lead a team in the semi-automated production of aerospace components, ensuring schedules are met and safety, quality, and documentation standards are upheld across shifts.

The role requires experience in engineering/manufacturing, strong leadership, and the ability to work to SOPs and ISO standards, with DBS checks likely. Extension opportunities may arise based on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experience delivering to production schedules and SOPs.
• Willingness to undertake DBS and other checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production cell or team to meet targets in a semi-automated environment.
• Ensure production schedules are met and communicate across shifts.
• Maintain health and safety standards and accurate production and quality documentation.
• Provide occasional shift and holiday cover as required.
