Job summary

Technical Placements Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established aerospace manufacturer in Leeds for a Production Supervisor. The role leads a team of 25–30 production staff and reports to a Senior Manager, delivering safety, quality and efficiency across the line.

You will drive daily KPIs, coach staff, and manage cost-saving projects while championing continuous improvement and lean practices. A permanent, day-shift role offers career development within a respected business.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience delivering continuous-improvement or cost-reduction projects.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 6S and production KPIs.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.

Production Supervisor - The Role

Reporting to a Senior Manager, you will supervise and develop production employees while managing safety, quality, cost, throughput and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Achieving daily production KPIs

About You

To be considered for this Production Supervisor role, you should have:

• Previous supervisory experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 6S and production KPIs
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• A relevant qualification and / or equivalent experience

Working Hours

• Monday-Tuesday: 07:30-16:30
• Wednesday-Thursday: 07:30-16:15
• Friday: 07:30-12:00
