Job summary

AMS People Limited is seeking a Senior Operator for a 6-month fixed-term contract to lead production of high-quality aerospace components in a semi-automated environment. The role requires experience in technical production, adherence to SOPs, and rigorous quality and safety documentation.

The successful candidate will operate to production and maintenance schedules, carry out inspections, and cover a double day shift with occasional holiday work. A background in aerospace standards is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical production environment in engineering or manufacturing.
• Ability to work to SOPs and undertake training as needed.
• Conducting quality inspections, maintaining quality standards and documentation and reporting on quality.
• Following production and maintenance schedules.
• Ensuring high standards of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a semi-automated production environment to manufacture aerospace components.
• Perform visual and automated quality inspections and maintain supporting documentation.
• Follow SOPs, production schedules and maintenance plans.
• Maintain high health and safety standards in the work area.
• Work a double day shift and provide occasional holiday cover when required.
