Job summary

Ultra Precision Control Systems in Cheltenham is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a small production team within a safety-critical manufacturing environment. You will work with the Production Manager to deliver the monthly plan, monitor KPI performance, and ensure timely shop order turnaround.

The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with ERP/MRP systems, and a focus on 6S and FOD programs. Flexible working options are available where possible, with a strong emphasis on safety

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Supervisor or similar role leading a small team.
• Self-motivated and organised with a results driven approach.
• Good Communication and Interpersonal skills.
• Experience with use of MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of production staff and deliver the monthly plan.
• Manage holidays, sickness, time keeping and discipline across the team.
• Monitor performance using KPI’s and review labour bookings.
• Hold daily team meetings to review progress and issues.
• Assist in creating shop order paperwork and route cards.
