Job summary

Safran Nacelles in Burnley is seeking a Production Scheduler to support the Master Production Schedule by ensuring smooth flow of materials through the internal supply chain. You will work with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Production teams to develop short-term supply plans, manage production orders, monitor capacity and address supply challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Scheduling, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Good understanding of MRP2 principles.
• Experience using ERP systems and Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short-term supply plans aligned to the MPS and customer demand.
• Validate MRP outputs and manage exception messages.
• Launch, sequence, and manage production orders within the ERP system.
• Perform detailed capacity planning and identify potential constraints.
• Negotiate delivery dates and quantities with internal suppliers.
• Monitor manufacturing progress and implement recovery plans where required.
• Analyse supply chain performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure stock accuracy through effective order management and receipting processes.
• Support subcontracted processes and manage production order closure and archiving.
• Participate in daily control rooms, planning reviews, audits, and improvement projects.
