Job summary

Safran UK is hiring a Purchasing Co-Ordinator on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role provides operational procurement support to the NPI Build Program team, handling day-to-day purchasing activities, PO placement, supplier communication and procurement reporting.

You will bring experience in purchasing or supply chain, proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong Excel skills. Knowledge of manufacturing or aerospace environments is advantageous; you will work on PO management,

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement administration or supply chain.
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Experience in manufacturing or aerospace environment is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to analyze and organize data.

Responsibilities

• Purchase Order (PO) Management and transmission to suppliers.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data, pricing and delivery commitments in ERP.
• Monitor open orders and update delivery schedules.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with Suppliers and Finance.
• Monitor prototype and pre-production inventory; ensure material availability.
• Act as the primary interface with suppliers for order management.
• Follow up supplier commitments and delivery schedules.
