Job summary

Matchtech Mobility is seeking a Production Planner for a permanent role in the UK aerospace sector. You will own the end-to-end production planning, coordinate inputs from multiple manufacturing areas, and ensure safe, efficient production flow.

The role requires expertise in production tools, KPI reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Engineering and Procurement teams. The ideal candidate brings aerospace experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning within engineering manufacturing, preferably aerospace.
• Familiarity with aerospace production practices and standard compliance.
• Proficiency in creating/updating production procedures for airframe and powerplant systems.
• Strong IT skills with MS Office 365 and manufacturing software tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the overall production timeline and risk register.
• Report timelines, workforce needs and risk registers to senior management.
• Schedule and assign production activities and provide progress reports.
• Drive cost reduction, risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
• Prepare production reports, KPIs and forecasts for management.
• Develop production processes and allocate work in planning tools.
• Maintain production work cards with Engineering Quality and Mfg. Manager - Quality.
• Ensure product definitions align with customer requirements.
