Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Head of Supply Chain Planning for a market-leading aerospace manufacturer in the United Kingdom. You will own the end-to-end planning strategy across demand, supply, production scheduling, inventory, and SIOP, ensuring balance between customer demand and operational capability.

• Proven leadership in supply chain planning, materials management, or operations planning in manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in SIOP, demand and supply planning, production scheduling, and ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience driving planning transformation, process improvement, and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the company's supply chain planning strategy.
• Lead the SIOP process, driving alignment across Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Finance.
• Develop world-class demand planning, supply planning, production scheduling, and inventory management capabilities.
• Own and enhance ERP, MRP, forecasting, and planning systems to support business objectives.
• Improve forecast accuracy, inventory performance, material availability, and customer delivery performance.
• Lead planning transformation, systems development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive data governance, planning analytics, and performance reporting.
• Identify and mitigate supply and demand risks across the business.
• Build and develop a high-performing planning team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
