Job summary

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a technically skilled professional to lead electroplating process improvements in a high-technology manufacturing setting. You will drive PFMEA development, ensure COSHH compliance and support shop floor teams with robust process instructions.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in chemistry or materials science with a metal finishing focus.
• Experience in industrial chemical handling and electroplating is essential.
• Ability to develop and maintain PFMEA documentation and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimise electroplating standards for high-quality finishes.
• Develop PFMEA materials for NPI and existing lines.
• Ensure site compliance with IPPC permits and COSHH regulations.
• Provide technical support to shop floor teams and update process instructions.
• Oversee wastewater systems and coordinate hazardous waste disposal.
