Job summary

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a specialist for a full-time, onsite role in Whitstable to lead process optimisations in chemical finishing for aerospace components.

You will monitor electroplating standards, develop PFMEA, ensure COSHH/IPPC compliance, and support shop floor teams while enjoying flexitime, enhanced maternity pay, Health & Wellbeing suite, onsight restaurant, and quarterly bonus. • Monitor and optimise electroplating standards to reduce scrap and maintain high-quality finishes.
• Develop and implement PFMEA materials for New Product Introductions and existing production lines.
• Ensure full site compliance with IPPC permits and COSHH regulations.
• Provide technical support to shop floor teams and update process instructions.
• Oversee wastewater effluent systems and coordinate hazardous waste disposal.

• Oversee wastewater effluent systems and coordinate hazardous waste disposal.

Your profile

• Strong background inchemical manufacturing or metal finishing.
• Detailed understanding of Health and Safety protocols within a hazardous environment.
• Ability to mentor shop floor operators and manage skills matrices.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies like 5S or Root Cause Analysis.
• Competent in laboratory analysis and troubleshooting out-of-tolerance concentrations.
