Job summary

The role requires a degree in Chemistry or Materials Science, strong PFMEA experience, and a solid grasp of IPPC and COSHH regulations.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry or Materials Science with a focus on metal finishing.
- Proven experience in industrial chemical handling and electroplating.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining PFMEA documentation.
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety in hazardous environments.
- Experience with continuous improvement methods (5S, RCA).
Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimise electroplating standards to ensure high-quality finishes and minimal scrap rates.
- Develop and implement PFMEA materials for New Product Introductions and existing production lines.
- Ensure full site compliance with IPPC permits and COSHH regulations.
- Provide technical support to shop floor teams and update process instructions.
- Oversee wastewater effluent systems and coordinate hazardous waste disposal.
