Job Description

During Training

Shift: Mon-Thurs 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-1pm

Salary: £12.41 p/h

Post Training

Shift: 4 on 4 off days and nights 6am-6pm

Salary: £15.56 p/h (inclusive of shift premium)

With customer demand and therefore job security into the next decade, we are looking for new Operatives to support a fast-growing business on a permanent basis. You will play a crucial role in the production of carbon fibre parts used in aircraft manufacturing, where you will learn new, transferable skills and have the chance to start and progress your career.

You should possess the following:

  • Attention to detail, accurate, focused and consistent.

  • Ensure that products are produced safely, efficiently and to the aerospace quality standard.

  • Work as part of a wider team to meet daily production targets.

  • Comply with various business instructions and procedures.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing business is an advantage but not essential.

  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, organisation and maintenance of own work area and wider work area.

The role will suit someone with good manual dexterity, who takes pride in their work, as you will be handling a variety of hand tools and materials to create carbon fibre parts.

Please note that comprehensive training on the products and on-going support will be provided.
