Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Derby (Hybrid) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for Aerospace Procurement. You will lead supplier industrialisation with GE Avio, Safran, and AGI partners, ensuring compliance and industrialisation readiness across Europe.

You will drive cost reduction, support technology programs, and collaborate across Procurement, Quality, Design and suppliers, delivering value in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field with significant experience in manufacturing engineering in a complex environment.
• Experience with supplier industrialisation, APQP/PPAP and supplier capability assessment.
• Strong analytical skills and use of manufacturing engineering tools for industrialisation and cost reduction.
• Experience across complex supply chains, influencing suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; willing to learn and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Industrialisation: manage supplier industrialisation plans and cross-category oversight per APQP/PPAP; develop enterprise knowledge and reporting.
• Collaboration: engage internal/external networks to realise industrialisation and cost programmes.
• Product Cost: support and drive cost-reduction activities; engage communities for program execution and funding.
• Technology: support current/future technology programs and troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Technical: identify and resolve technical barriers to industrialisation.
• Strategy: identify opportunities to deliver targets via existing strategies like Zero Defects.
