Rolls-Royce is seeking a Procurement Category Manager for the Machining category in Derby. Hybrid role with three days in the office. You will lead a team of Buyers, manage critical supplier relationships and drive cost-out projects across in-contract engagements with turbine and rotative suppliers.

You will negotiate major contracts, balance commercial risk, and collaborate with Supply Management, Engineering and Quality to deliver measurable value in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree (BA level) and/or CIPS qualifications.
• Proven track record in leading negotiations at senior level.
• Experience in direct/indirect procurement in regulated/complex industries.
• Strong collaboration with Finance, Legal and Supplier Management teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a team of Buyers.
• Drive major commercial negotiations on complex claims and extensions.
• Oversee supplier relationship management with aerospace suppliers.
• Deliver cost-out and value-creation initiatives.
• Embed safety, ethics and compliance in all activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Procurement teams to realise opportunities.
