Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc, Derby, in a hybrid role, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for Aerospace Procurement. You will lead supplier industrialisation across GE Avio, Safran, and AGI partnerships, aligning APQP/PPAP and cross-functional teams to drive cost and quality improvements.

You will apply deep manufacturing engineering expertise to assess supplier readiness, manage risk, and influence stakeholders across Europe, delivering strategic targets in a complex supply chain.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related discipline degree with manufacturing experience.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP and supplier industrialisation.
• Strong analytical skills and use of manufacturing tools.
• Experience influencing suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work across complex supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Industrialisation: manage supplier industrialisation plans and APQP/PPAP.
• Assess supplier capability, manufacturing readiness and industrialisation risk.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to realise industrialisation and cost programmes.
• Support technical product cost reduction activities and engage communities.
• Provide support to technology programmes within Procurement and assist with troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve technical barriers to industrialisation.
• Support delivery of strategies like Zero Defects and other targets.
