Job summary

ALTEN is seeking Manufacturing Engineers to support the SAR Flowline programme in a leading aerospace manufacturing environment. The role involves providing manufacturing engineering support, resolving issues, and driving improvements across safety, quality, delivery and cost.

You will collaborate with Operations, Design, Quality and Supply Chain, contributing to NPI and industrialisation while ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in aerospace manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting aerospace components, assemblies or production systems.
• Understanding of aerospace quality requirements and manufacturing standards.
• Root Cause Analysis and problem solving.
• Cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing engineering support to the SAR Flowline production area.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing and production issues.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, routes, and work instructions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Support concession, non-conformance and root cause investigations.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with aerospace standards and customer requirements.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and industrialisation activities.
• Liaise with Design, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain teams to improve production performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, throughput and process capability.
