ALTEN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the SAR Flowline programme in a leading aerospace environment. You will work closely with Operations, Design, Quality and Supply Chain to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve flowline performance.

Applicants should have aerospace manufacturing experience and a degree in engineering, with a track record in process development, RCA, and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Aerospace manufacturing experience required.
• Understanding of aerospace quality requirements.
• Experience with process development and improvement.
• Knowledge of RCA and non-conformance handling.

Responsabilidades

• Provide manufacturing engineering support to the SAR Flowline area.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing and production issues.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, routes and work instructions.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Support concession, non-conformance and root cause investigations.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure processes comply with aerospace standards and customer requirements.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and industrialisation activities.
• Liaise with Design, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain to improve production performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, throughput and process capability.
