Job summary

Ontic Engineering & Manufacturing Limited in Cheltenham is seeking a Customer Programme Manager to lead a portfolio of Military and Civil customer relationships, maximise satisfaction and deliver on OE Material sales plans. You’ll coordinate pricing, RFQs and RFPs with the Estimating team and develop medium- and long-term strategies for your customers.

Qualifications

Experience with key accounts or repeat business in a customer-focused role.
Confidence communicating with customers during challenging times.
Cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Marketing and Trade Compliance.
Negotiation experience is beneficial but not essential.
An interest in engineering helps in communicating with technical teams.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of Military and Civil customer relationships and drive sales of OE Material.
Deliver medium- and long-term strategies for the portfolio and coordinate pricing, RFQs and RFPs with Estimating.
Lead negotiations of Long Term Agreements and build strong customer partnerships.
Forecast demand, monitor order processing and on-time delivery, and analyse market activity.
Provide insights to ensure inventory levels meet customer requirements and support growth of reactive sales.
