Job summary

Safran Seats in Worcester/Cwmbran seeks a Configuration Manager to lead the CMS, govern product and programme configurations, and drive standardised practices across the organisation. You will own change control processes and partner with programme teams to embed configuration control throughout delivery.

Candidates should bring a strong aviation background, CMII certification, and experience with CATIA V5 or PLM systems.

Qualifications

• Safety professional with aviation background.
• Experience applying configuration management in complex engineering environments.
• Knowledge of engineering release, change control and approval processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and maintain the CMS for products and programmes.
• Own and optimise the engineering change control process and Change Control Boards.
• Produce and maintain configuration data and reports for lifecycle requirements.
• Support Windchill PLM deployment and optimisation.
• Analyse CMS performance and implement efficiency improvements.
