Job summary

Parker Meggitt in Fareham is seeking two Assembly Operators for the Twilight Shift to join a precision aerospace manufacturing team. You will braze and assemble specialised components, operate furnaces, perform leak tests, and contribute to quality assurance in a regulated environment.

Working on a desk-based but hands-on role, you will follow detailed work instructions, maintain process documentation, and ensure high standards of accuracy and safety across production stages.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/production setting.
• Ability to assemble precision components accurately.
• Familiarity with brazing processes (vacuum brazing preferred).
• Ability to follow documented procedures and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble aerospace components per specifications and work instructions.
• Mix and apply braze paste and materials before brazing.
• Operate vacuum furnaces: load/unload, program settings, monitor runs.
• Carry out leak testing and inspection to verify quality.
• Maintain process documentation and ensure aerospace quality standards.
