Workshop Recruitment is representing a Havant aerospace employer and seeks Assembly Technicians for the site. The role involves disassembling faulty aerospace components, building them into complex assemblies and conducting tests and inspections to ensure quality.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with hand tools and precision measuring equipment, read engineering drawings and work to 5S and safety procedures in a 37-hour week with overtime options.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in detail manufacturing—assembling complex components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with hand tools and precision measurement equipment.
• Experience in aerospace or mechanical build preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, teardown and rebuild hydraulic LRU units for repair or overhaul.
• Follow CMMs and operating procedures; ensure proper tooling and documentation.
• Interpret drawings and perform visual inspections for defects.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and adhere to 5S and safety rules.
