Job summary

Infosys in the United Kingdom seeks a Technology Lead to guide aero engine design programmes in turbomachinery, covering gas turbine components and propulsion systems.

You will lead a team of engineers across development, production and after-market stages, ensuring outputs meet quality, safety, cost and schedule targets while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience on turbomachinery components.
• Strong understanding of aero engine modules (compressors, turbines, combustion, structures).
• Experience in design, development and non-conformance/DAR/PDG/QN assessments.
• Experience in design, development and installations for engine external components.
• Creation of design definitions including geometry, drawings, models and interface documents.
• Design modification to reduce cost and resolve manufacturing issues via DAR process.
• Tolerance stack analysis in UG (2D/3D).
• Cross-functional collaboration with stress, air systems and materials engineers.

• Lead a team of engineers across product development stages.
• Drive technical delivery excellence and ensure outputs meet customer requirements for quality, safety, cost, schedule and manufacturability.
• Deliver high quality deliverables and perform peer reviews.
