Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Producibility Design Engineer to join our Derby/ Bristol team in the United Kingdom. You will lead design activities for turbomachinery components, ensuring manufacturability and cost targets are met.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate across functions, and drive high-quality deliverables through the product lifecycle from development to after-market support. Experience in aero engine design and non-conformance processes, with strong stakeholder communication, is

Qualifications

10+ years of turbomachinery experience in aero/power sectors.
Strong understanding of aero engine modules: compressors, turbines, combustion, structures, casings, rotatives, airfoils.
Experience in design, development and non-conformance processes for aero engine components.
Design of engine external components and interface documentation.
Tolerance stack analysis using 2D/3D layouts.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of engineers, driving technical delivery across lifecycle stages.
Ensure outputs meet quality, safety, cost, schedule and manufacturability targets.
Steer high‑level design artefacts, mentor teammates, and manage priorities.
Foster ownership, accountability and continuous improvement in delivery processes.
