Job summary

Citizens Advice Malvern Hills is seeking an Advice Session Supervisor to lead a team delivering welfare rights and money advice across South Worcestershire. The post is based at the Malvern Hills office with travel to other outreaches.

You will supervise advisers (volunteers and paid staff), ensure high‑quality advice, and manage sessions, records, and service delivery. This part‑time role offers flexible working and potential for development.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or delivering advice work.
• Strong knowledge of Welfare Rights and Money Advice.
• Interpersonal skills to manage staff and volunteers.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise in-person advice sessions and allocate resources.
• Provide supervision to advisers (volunteers and staff).
• Monitor case records and maintain quality standards.
• Ensure equality and diversity in the team and service.
• Deliver regular performance reviews and learning opportunities.
• Provide occasional cover across South Worcestershire outreach sites.
