Job summary

Wealden Citizens Advice in Crowborough, Hailsham and Uckfield is looking for an Advice Session Supervisor to oversee a team of volunteers and support advisers.

The role involves supervising advice sessions across debt, benefits, housing, immigration and employment, reviewing adviser quality and collaborating with the Wealden Management Team for a high‑quality service. It is a fixed term contract for 6 months, working 1 day per week (7 hours) with a salary of £32,061 FTE (£6,065.60 pro rata).

Qualifications

• Experience supervising volunteers in Citizens Advice or similar service.
• Ability to review the quality of adviser work and ensure an effective service.
• Experience across debt, energy, benefits, housing, immigration and employment channels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support volunteer advisers across offices.
• Review adviser encounters across channels to ensure high quality advice.
• Collaborate with management to improve the service for clients.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Advice Session Supervisor in our Crowborough, Hailsham and Uckfield offices. You will have previous Citizens Advice experience order to provide supervision and support to our volunteer team, review the quality of work of advisers to ensure an effect and efficient advice service to clients.

We offer advice on debt, energy, benefits, housing, immigration, and employment etc. to clients through a variety of channels, including telephone, face to face and email.

You will be required to work flexibly across all of Wealden Citizens Advice and work collaboratively with the Wealden Management Team for the benefit of all our clients.

This is a fixed term contract for 6 months working 1 day a week (7 hours) with a salary of £32,061 FTE, £6,065.60 pro rata.
