Job summary

South Worcestershire Citizens Advice seeks an Advice Session Supervisor to lead a team of staff and volunteers from our Malvern Hills office and outreach sites. The role focuses on supervision, quality assurance, and developing staff capabilities to deliver accurate welfare rights and money advice.

You will supervise sessions, monitor records, provide guidance, and support a culture of continuous improvement. A full driving licence is required to cover outreach work across the district.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or delivering advice work and maintaining casework systems.
• Knowledge of welfare rights and money advice.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise advice sessions and casework, ensuring adequate staffing and resources.
• Provide support and supervision to advisers (volunteers and paid staff).
• Monitor case records and calls to meet quality standards and SLAs.
• Maintain overall quality of advice across South Worcestershire projects.
• Lead learning and development for staff and volunteers.
• Prepare regular reports on performance and activities.
• Attend internal/external meetings and work with colleagues to ensure effective service delivery.
