Job summary

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust invites applications for a Band 6 Treatment Planning Clinical Technologist post in Radiotherapy Physics at Leeds Cancer Centre, St James's University Hospital. You will contribute to planning routine and complex radiotherapy treatments within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical Technology or related discipline with post-graduate radiotherapy treatment planning training.
• BSc Therapy Radiography with post-qualification radiotherapy treatment planning training.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning of routine and highly complex radiotherapy treatments.
• Perform routine dosimetry and quality control to support safe radiotherapy delivery.
• Support advanced radiotherapy techniques, clinical trials, service development and innovation within the radiotherapy centre.

CT simulator output and patient setup

ISO 9001:2008 quality systems

Auditor training

Linear accelerators experience

Education
