• Rotate through all radiotherapy service areas unless static placement is required; deputise for the team leader as needed

• Make clinical judgments outside of protocol when required, with escalation to senior staff as appropriate
• Use specialist knowledge to act on technical and patient-related issues daily and refer outside scope of practice when necessary
