Job summary

The Radiotherapy department at St James Hospital Leeds, part of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, is seeking a Specialist Radiotherapy Practitioner to join a dynamic team providing specialist radiotherapy treatment and patient support in line with Trust policies.

The post holder will rotate through all radiotherapy areas, deputise for the team leader when required, and help train other professionals, trainees and visitors, maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through all areas within the radiotherapy service (unless static placement).
• Deputise for the relevant team leader as required.
• Support and train other qualified professionals, trainees and visitors.
• Make clinical judgments outside protocol using experience and initiative.
