Gardenia and Marsh Farm Practice in north Luton is seeking a Practice Paramedic to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with minor illnesses or injuries in the clinic and in the community. Qualifications

• Advanced practitioner level qualification.
• HCPC registration is required.
• Own vehicle for home visits.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat acutely unwell patients and those with minor illness or injury.
• Assess, diagnose and treat patients in the community, including home visits.
• Prescribe and issue medications under practice policy and local pathways.
• Carry out Avoiding Unplanned Admission reviews.
• Take pathological specimens and perform investigations as requested by GPs.
• Educate patients on self-care and maintain accurate clinical records.
