Job summary

Docgo-1 is recruiting a Primary Care Paramedic to work autonomously within the GP and Advanced Practice team, providing assessment, treatment and diagnosis at first point of contact in a primary care setting. You will comply with GMS contract, DES/LES contracts, and national practice guidelines.

Role includes home visits, vaccinations, medical reports and safeguarding tasks when appropriate. The post holder will perform urgent/same-day clinics, assess complex cases, prescribe within scope, and

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and current UK registration.
• Ability to operate at an advanced level of clinical practice.
• Experience as a band 6 paramedic or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Undertake urgent/same-day clinics.
• Undertake home visits with the clinical team.
• Assess, diagnose, plan and evaluate treatment for undifferentiated and complex cases.
• Prescribe and review medication within scope and guidelines.
• Record IT-based consultation notes to agreed standards.
• Collect data for audit purposes and contribute to CPD.
