Job summary

Operose Health Ltd is recruiting an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to support primary care delivery from our Essex Hub. The role focuses on telephone-based triage with no face-to-face contact, based at Church Lane Surgery, 32 hours per week and an salary up to £60,000 depending on experience.

The successful candidate will work with the GP team, demonstrate strong clinical decision-making, and lead nursing initiatives while delivering high-quality patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice.
• Working towards non-medical prescriber status.
• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• Must have minor injury and illness qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the general practice.
• Work collaboratively with the general practice team and provide nurse leadership as required.

Main Responsibilities:

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.


• You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.


• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate:

What we look for in new colleagues:

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.


• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.


• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care


• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
