Job summary

Operose Health in Essex is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our primary care team. The role offers up to £60,000 FTE depending on experience and requires 14 hours per week with Tuesday availability and flexibility for other days.

You will deliver high-quality care in a busy practice, supporting access, outcomes and patient experience. The team values compassion, ambition, resourcefulness and excellence as we CARE for patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice
• Non-medical prescriber status or progression
• Experience in primary care settings is preferred
• Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner ACP status or accreditation in progress

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation
• Demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert care within general practice
• Collaborate with the general practice team to meet patient needs and support policy/procedures and nurse leadership

Main Responsibilities

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate

What we look for in new colleagues:

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care.
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
