Job summary

Operose Health in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join The Practice Northumberland Avenue on a full-time basis.

You will provide first-contact care, assess and treat, and lead nursing practice within the GP team. The role offers up to £60,000 depending on experience and 37.5 hours per week with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• NMC registration as a practising nurse.
• Experience in primary care is preferred.
• Advanced clinical practice and prescriber training is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patients from initial history through clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert care within general practice.
• Collaborate with the GP team to meet patient needs and support policy/procedure delivery; provide nurse leadership as required.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
