Job summary

Operose Health Ltd is recruiting an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Church Lane Surgery. The role is 32 hours per week, based at our Essex Hub and focused on telephone-based triage with no face-to-face contact. Salary is up to £60,000 depending on experience, with a range of supportive benefits.

The successful candidate will bring NMC registration, advanced clinical practice, and progress towards non-medical prescriber status, to lead clinical care and collaborate with the GP team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential.
• Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner preferred; ACP status may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care including assessment and diagnosis within general practice.
• Work collaboratively with the practice team to meet patient needs, supporting policy delivery and providing nurse leadership as required.

Role Responsibility

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

The Ideal Candidate

What we look for in new colleagues:

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
