Job summary

Practice Plus Group is seeking experienced Advanced Nurses or Clinical Practitioners to join our Out of Hours team. You will assess and treat urgent cases, providing high-quality care outside regular GP hours in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Advanced Nurse or Clinical Practitioner in urgent care settings.
• Ability to assess and manage unscheduled urgent presentations.
• Strong communication with patients and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients presenting with urgent needs during out-of-hours.
• Provide treatment within general practice scope when GP surgeries are closed.
• Collaborate with paramedics, 111 referrals, and ED teams.

We can offer a range of sessions to allow you to flexibly choose the right shift pattern for you.

In OOH we assess and treat patients who require urgent unscheduled intervention suitable for treatment by general practice clinicians when the GP surgeries are closed. Our referrals come from either 111, via a dedicated health care professional line used by paramedics and district nursing teams or from the AED or MIU.
