Job summary

Practice Plus Group seeks an experienced Advanced Nurse or Clinical Practitioner to join our Out of Hours team in Warwickshire. You will deliver high-quality patient care during evenings and nights across multiple sites.

We welcome experienced clinicians with NMC registration who can assess and treat urgent unscheduled conditions and collaborate with 111 referrals and AED/MIU pathways in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Advanced Nurse or Clinical Practitioner with NMC registration.
• Experience in urgent/out-of-hours care preferred.
• Ability to assess and treat urgent unscheduled conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients requiring urgent unscheduled care during OOH periods.
• Work across Warwickshire sites: Nuneaton, Coventry, Rugby, Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon and Shipston-on-Stour.
• Provide care outside GP hours with flexible shift patterns.
• Coordinate with 111 referrals and AED/MIU pathways.

Practice Plus Group is a leading provider of urgent care services across the UK, committed to delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients when they need it most – outside of regular GP hours.

Our Warwickshire OOH service is spread across the county with sites in Nuneaton, Coventry, Rugby, Warwick, Stratford‑upon‑Avon and Shipston‑on‑Stour. Our OOH service is open from 18:30‑08:00 Monday to Friday and 24 hours over the weekend. We can offer a range of sessions to allow you to flexibly choose the right shift pattern for you.

In OOH we assess and treat patients who require urgent unscheduled intervention suitable for treatment by general practice clinicians when the GP surgeries are closed. Referrals come from either 111, via a dedicated health‑care professional line used by paramedics and district nursing teams, or from the AED or MIU.
