As an Out of Hours General Practitioner, you will deliver patient-centred care during evenings, weekends and bank holidays, working within a multidisciplinary team and benefiting from flexible session patterns and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered with license to practise in the UK.
• Experience in urgent care or out-of-hours settings is preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Commitment to patient-centred care in a fast-paced environment.

As an Out of Hours General Practitioner with Practice Plus Group, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care during evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting patients with urgent medical needs in a fast-paced but rewarding setting.

During my GP training the part which I enjoyed the most was the out-of-hours (OOH) element with Harmoni (which later became Care UK, now the Practice Plus Group). With no administrative tasks, bloods to file, documents to check, it was as close to the acute care as a GP could get. I was very well supported by Practice Plus Group during this time and was able to excel and make a mark.
