Milton Keynes City Council is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with diverse needs across community or home settings. You will deliver personalised care, maintain dignity, and support participation in meaningful activities.

The role is site-based, with flexibility for community work and a focus on safety, confidentiality, and collaboration within the Adult Provider Services team.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Safer Recruitment and DBS checks may be required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver personalised care and support in line with each person’s care plan, needs, preferences and choices.
• Provide personal and intimate care respectfully, maintaining people’s privacy and dignity while following infection prevention and control guidance.
• Notice and report changes in a person’s health, wellbeing or behaviour, responding to risks and seeking guidance when needed.
• Help people take part in meaningful activities that support positive experiences, independence and wellbeing.
• Keep clear and accurate written and electronic records, and communicate effectively with colleagues, families and external organisations.
• Work flexibly across the service, complete required training and use agreed equipment, mobility aids and safe moving and positioning techniques.
