Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is seeking Functional Assessors in Weston-super-Mare to conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments for DWP claimants. You will explore how health conditions affect daily activities and work, reviewing medical evidence and health questionnaires to inform recommendations.

Applicants should bring 1+ year post-registration experience in adult care, plus NMC/HCPC/GPHC registration, with strong report-writing, IT and independent-working abilities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent post-registration experience in a relevant adult setting.
• At least 1 year of active NMC, HCPC or GPHC registration.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.
• Excellent report-writing and typing skills.
• Good IT skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
• PIP assessments - 3 a day.
• WCA assessments -5/6 a day.

Full-time | Monday-Friday | 9am-5pm

Part time available - 3/4 days

Location: Weston-Super-Mare

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 - (+ 1k at 6/12 months - performance based)

What you need:

You don't need previous Functional Assessor experience — your clinical experience and transferable assessment skills are what matter.
