Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Customer Service Advisor for the Adult Learning Service in Slough. The role involves handling enquiries from learners, staff and partners, supporting enrolment processes, and maintaining accurate records to ensure smooth delivery of adult learning programmes.

You will be the first point of contact, delivering a professional reception service, signposting to appropriate services, and contributing to quality improvement activities while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong literacy and numeracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for learner and stakeholder enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Provide information on learning opportunities and signpost services.
• Deliver a welcoming reception and provide information requests.
• Support learner enrolment including applications, enrolments, and fees.
• Maintain accurate learner data in MIS and ensure data quality.
