Manchester City Council is seeking a qualified Careers and Progression Advisor to help adult learners take their next steps in learning, employment and career development. You will provide high-quality, impartial careers information, advice and guidance to support learners to identify goals and overcome barriers.

You will work with tutors, employers and partner organisations to create progression opportunities and ensure learners receive the support they need to succeed.

Formación

• Experience delivering impartial careers information, advice and guidance to adults.
• Experience managing a caseload and maintaining accurate records.
• Experience working with internal and external partners to support progression.
• Ability to provide high-quality guidance and support to diverse learners.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver one-to-one careers guidance appointments.
• Facilitate group sessions and workshops.
• Develop progression plans and make referrals to support services.
• Follow up learners to track progress and maintain learner records.
