Job summary
The Bedford College Group is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join the Adult & Community Learning & ESOL team at Central Bedfordshire College, Dunstable. You will support learners with their educational, personal and social development, and assist tutors with lesson delivery.

Qualifications
- Holds a Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification (or equivalent) and Level 2 English and Maths.
- Experience supporting students in an educational environment.
- Strong organisational and ICT skills.
- Excellent learner support and record management.
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Learner Support & Inclusion: support learners' educational, personal and social development, including those with SEND.
- Teaching & Classroom Support: assist with lesson planning, resources, curriculum delivery and behaviour management.
- Progress Monitoring & Student Development: monitor learner progress and support English, maths and other subjects.
- Administrative & Operational Support: maintain records, track attendance, organise resources and communications.
- Professional & Statutory Responsibilities: safeguarding, confidentiality and attendance at training.
