The Admissions Team at University of Southampton is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our busy office. You will assess applications for taught courses and work closely with Admissions Tutors to ensure a smooth applicant journey.
You will also respond to enquiries by phone and email, support colleagues, and contribute to a range of activities across the Admissions service. Strong organisation and communication are essential to deliver outstanding customer service.
The Admissions Team are looking to recruit an Admissions Coordinator to join their busy team.
The post-holder will be responsible for assessing applications for a portfolio of taught courses, working closely with Admissions Tutors and other key stakeholders to deliver an excellent applicant experience. The post-holders will also respond to enquiries from applicants and their supporters via telephone and email, as well as contributing to a variety of other activities undertaken by the Admissions service.
The successful candidate will be an excellent team player with a proven ability to work proactively. They will be well organised and adaptable, taking a positive approach to managing a busy workload. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as is a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Candidates are generally appointed at the bottom of the salary scale.
